One of the most common questions around spell casting is that of timing: ‘What is the best time to cast my spells?’

The simple answer is ANYTIME. However, there are some times that are seen as more powerful, and if we align ourselves with them, they can assist us in achieving greater success.

As we honour the earth and creation. we closely observe the cycles of nature to guide us. These include the moon cycles, seasonal changes and the position of the sun in the sky.

Traditionally, witches and pagans work closely with moon energy. which encompasses both the moon phases and the tides. This diary gives you clear information about moon phases and offers suggestions about what to cast for as well. Full

• The moon is full in the sky.
• Full energy! Big energy! Kapow!
• This moon gives you high-impact results, and is perfect for attraction spells of any type.
• It’s a great time to explore and find your true path and purpose in life.
  • Witches formally celebrate their relationship with the Divine once every 28 days during Full This is called an
    ‘esbat’, literally a meeting \\’ith others in a coven or Simply with the Divine.

Waning

• The moon is growing smaller in the sky. This occurs after the Full Moon and before the New Moon.
• Energy is reduced.
  • It’s a good time to perform spells with a purpose and intention ofgetting rid of something that no longer serves you, or to
    reduce an obstacle.
• It’s a great time to give up a bad habit (e.g. an addiction, a limiting belief).

Dark Moon

• No moon is visible in the sky.
• Traditionally, this is a time of introversion and rest.
• It’s a good time for spells that ask for peace and creative flow.
• Experienced witches can use this moon for powerful healing through positive hexing.

New Moon

• This occurs the day after the Dark Moon and is good for fresh starts and renewal.
• it is the time to make seven wishes.
• It is a great time for spells of health and for the beginning of projects or businesses.
• A powerful time to cast spells for better mental health.
